PH Sunday Service - 01/11/09
PH is Bracknell bound, as we head to the home of BMW UK
The PistonHeads Sunday Service is fast becoming a British Institution, attracting hundreds of people from all over the country to celebrate the Sunday tradition of cars, bacon rolls and mugs of tea. Surely it's only a matter of time before the PH definition of the Sunday Service is added to the dictionary?
In an effort to keep the good word of the PHSS fresh in the minds of PHers we are pleased to announce yet another date for your diaries. On Sunday 1st November all roads will lead to Bracknell and the HQ of BMW UK as they open their doors to us from 09.00 - 13.00.
We will we have two large car parks to use giving us space for close to 400 cars, and as we are running an 'open' car park format for this meet it means that everyone can park together as they arrive. When one car park is full, we will open the other giving a good mix of cars in the display areas.
The restaurant will be open to provide the bacon rolls and hot drinks, and should the PHers cars not be enough for you, the kind folk at BMW UK have laid on a feast of Munich metal for us to pore over, including:
2002 Turbo
'Batmobile' CSL
E30 M3
M3 CSL
Z8
MINI JCW WC50
MINI GP
X5 and X6M
MINI Challenge car
MINI E
M3 Coupe Edition
5 Series GT
X1
S1000 RR motorcycle
HP2 Sport motorcycle
K1200 RR Power Cup motorcycle
Charley Boorman bikes from his TV series
We look forward to another successful PH meet and extend our thanks to the BMW team for their hospitality.
